Lord of all life and time,
as we begin another day
we remember with gratitude
people both of the present and the past
who have enriched our lives.
Parents, partners, family and friends,
through their wisdom, thoughtfulness
and practical attention,
have nourished and sustained us
through the good times and the tough times.
We bless you for such people.
